LIFE BEGINS AT THE END OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Hi I’m Dave, 22 yrs old, mixed martial arts practitioner from Cold Canada. I started training about 5 years ago. I love the way martial arts makes you feel, it makes you go out of your comfort zone. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

I traveled all the way to Thailand last year to challenge myself. I learned from world-class coaches in Muay Thai, MMA, and BJJ. I went there alone… but returned home with so many friends, stories and memories for a lifetime. After a staying a month at Tiger Muay Thai & MMA Training Camp (TMT) in Phuket, I really understood why it won the best gym for foreigners two years in a row.

I accepted to write about my stay because, I wanted to share what I lived at this amazing place. The amount of knowledge this facility holds is unequaled. What I really loved is that the trainers here, all love sharing their knowledge and they all have a great sense of humor. I trained with the great Fernando Maccachero, if you don’t know him, check him out. I hit pads with Non Tachai, Kru Robert and I had the chance to train with legendary Chok Chai, and got him to corner me for my fight at Bangla Stadium at the end of my stay, which I won by TKO.

I really got pushed over my limits. I learned a lot about myself, got to experience a different lifestyle and discovered the very respectful and easy going Thai culture. Thailand is really a dream place to be and to train! I recommend TMT to any people with or without training experience, athlete of all levels and for fitness fanatic to really look more deeply into visiting Tiger Training camp if they are seeking new challenges and adventures.
Cheers!

P.S I am returning this year even longer with my girlfriend. It is great for couples too! You both can train and have fun. The cross fit and yoga classes are amazing!
